Changing my oil the other day and decided I would empty my crankcase blowby tank and realized that thing is not so simple to get off. Do you all empty yours on a regular basis or just when you rememeber to. I have a little over 10k on my rig and this is the 1st time I have drained it, hardly anything in it. Second, have you all done any mods to make this a simpler removal?

Yep, remove it, permanatly. (10mm socket I think) Get a 3/4" hose barb fitting, and a few feet of 3/4" hose. I extended mine back by the transmission, no draining, and my engine bay and radiator are clean as a whistle now. The bottle has been known to cause radiator plugging, because the fan will suck the oil from the bottle and plaster it all over the radiator, then dirt and whatever else sticks to it, and plugs it, like it did to mine.

Later, Rob
