I have made up my mind to re run a new hose to the back of the truck. I absolutly cannot stand the smell of the fresh oil blowby coming in the vents every stop.

What size tubing do I need to use?

I will have the truck on a lift tomorrow morning and was thinking this was the time to do it.

The hose is 3/4". If you live in a very cold climate I suggest you don't do this. The condensation developed from the warm engine air hitting the cold air will freeze inside the hose and if driven enough will freeze shut. I did this and ran in sub-zero temps for a couple days or so and while idling one evening it froze solid and blew 7 qts. of oil out the dip stick tube. It blew enough out to loose oil pressure. I have read on here of this happening to others as well and at least one of them lost his engine since he wasn't with the truck as it idled. Now if you are in a warmer place it will work just fine. I can't tell you what the temps would have to be to cause trouble or how many miles you would have to drive to freeze it solid. Like I said I was driving in 0 to -10 or so temps when this happened.
