Anybody know if these are one time bolts. I removed them to mic out everything and upon the attempt to torque down they just seem to stretch. I am ordering new ones from Cummins to take no chances. With the upgrades I would rather have my crankshaft in the oil pan rather than on the road under my truck.

I don't know about the bolts, but I think there is a stud kit available for the bottom end. Might as well beef that up while you're in there.

"Anybody know if these are one time bolts . . . "

From the model year 2000 factory service manual section regarding 5. 9L Cummins engine Crankshaft Main Bearings>Installation:

. . . All bearing capbolts removed during service procedures are to be cleaned and oiled before installation.

Sounds to me like they are re-used.
