Will EGT probe installation void the truck or engine warranty?

I have an 2005 And am looking at getting the Crankshaft sensor from ROKK TECHNOLIGIES just wondering How much imprvment people have gained on the milage end and if its worth it to buy... ...

Also am looking at analog gauges wondering which gauges are the best or what ever I have never heard of DI PRICOL just wondering if they are any good... . The other gauges i was looking at are the ISSPRO which I have had those before and I liked them might do something different just wanting to get some opinions on these gauges and how you people feel about them THANKS.

Ivere

I was looking at the ROKK tech stuff too, wondering about the muffler, they want a bunch of bucks for it... worth it? also the crank sensor... .

I don't have the crank sensor yet, but it is in the works. I ordered the muffler this weeknd but if you don't have a cat it is recommended that you at least get a race muffler to help it out as some have compained of drone. I won't know for sure till i get it installed.

I have the Rokk crankshaft sensor. Had it almost 2 weeks. It does lower the

EGT's and I may be seeing somewhere between 1/2 to 1 MPG improvement.

Very easy install, and I would do it again. There is also a mod for the tone

ring that I might look into in the future that adds even more timing.

I have proved the ROKKTECH sensor out with over 4700 miles of testing on one trip. The average MPG gain was 1. 0 to 1. 5 while towing 12,000 pounds. As far as the DiPricol gauges, they are among the best most reliable on the market. They match the stock gauges and have the same backlight. Both are very good choices. Sarge

I have the Isspro gauges and I cant say enough about them. The lighting is the same across all 3 gauges where some have had complaints of the DiP's not having the same illumination on all 3 gauges. I believe it was the boost gauge that had lighting issues. But I heard that they have, or are fixing this issue in the DiP line.

Early in the mornining when I got to work before the sun came up a guy at work looked in my truck and asked if the gauges were factory or if I had installed them. The factory lighting is that closely matched on my Isspros. If I were to recommed a set of gauges for a 3rd Gen truck again, the Isspros would be my choice hands down everytime.

I got mine from Genos Garage with the highest level of customer service around. Maybe one day I'll get a pic of my guages in the day/night. Hope this helps and good luck with your decision.

Especially when they are installed by a very close aquaintence of mine :D

My Dipricols are not evenly lit either. The EGT is the brightest which is the nearest, next is the boost which is the darkest and then the transmission temp right in the middle. All are wired in parallel for the lights
