What is the air gap for this and do you use a feeler gauge to set it and check it?

Set it at . 050". I think the book says 051", can't remember for sure. Feeler gauge worked for me.

. 049" to . 051" and yes set it with a feeler gauge.

Yeah the book says . 049 to . 051, so . 050 will work. It says to use a non magnetic brass feeler guage, but I don't know how important that is.

I looked all in my factory service manual, but I never found anything on it, not even in my cummins service manual, on what page or chapter is it in, in the factory service manual? You have to know 9 million different names something is called to look it up anymore, thanks everyone.

And yes we're supposed to use a non-magnetic gauge for this...
