Crater Lake campsites

I'm pulling a 10K 30-ft 5th wheel and would like to spend a little time around Crater Lake. Any recommendations on nearby campgrounds or the best way to get there coming north on I-5? Thanks -Doug

There arem't a lot of choices, esp if you want hook-ups. We stayed at Diamond Lake a few years ago, no complaints. The Umpqua Natl forest has campgrounds with no hook-ups. Umpqua National Forest - Welcome!

A few years back, we stayed at Diamond Lake. I remember lots of mosquitos. Also, the sites seemed to be about 50' long, single wide. Very easy for big rigs to get around. California residents are not used to that. Not a bad distance from Crater lake. Summer temps get hot at lower elevations and Diamond lake is at 5,000'.
