Is that a

RC-135 RJ?

Worked a bit with you boys in blue from time to time.

I know,, if you told me what you did for a living you would have to kill me. . ;)

Nope Randy but your kind of close, Navy E-6 707/320 frame, look up TACAMO! You like the no windows don't you!

Navy Flight Engineers work!

It wasn't the lack of windows that caught my eye but the blister on top and the plethora of antenna...

What's a Navy Flight Engineer doing in landlocked Ok? ;-) Sailors belong at sea!!

I ended up with more sea service than good conduct ribbons after my 20 was up,,,

I'll take a look at those pics when I get a decent connection!

Randy I did cruises on the Ranger and Constellation prior to coming here, two trips to the gulf, round the horn (that's South America for the civilians) ect. Put my 1306 in for the FE program in 95' and have been here since. In July I'll start my 4th tour here in OKC and will retire here... ... ... mis the boat but don't mis it too.

FYI, an E-6B Engineer is the go to person for everything, Plane, Crew, Paperwork, Systems knowledge, Preflight-Postflight, they do it all. There is no Crewchief to pass it off to.

After I saw the 5th picture, I thought I knew exactly what had happened... Jim was doing a WOT run, and just pulled back on the steering wheel a little too hard... ...

Oh well, I was close. I bet your truck has a quicker 0-100 time anyway than that thing... .

Merrick

P. S. Nice Pics!

Did you by chance fly in the Electric A-6B off those CV's? Those boys are BAD A&& both passive and active... .

Nope, the reason is I'm Enlisted! AD1 by rate, ADC with Gods help if he so chooses, kind of took it in the shorts by flying for the last 11 years but the quality of life is allot better, figured I would have already gotten out by now if I would have stayed in the boat Navy.

Here in Okrahoma you can afford to a home and some toys as you can tell. On Sea duty were I am... . (that's what they call it) you are gone anywere between 40 and 60% of the time from home. The next tour is another Instructor tour... . classroom type with no flying!

Merrick you are correct but I actually sit behind them, just jumped up in the right seat as it was open for photo ops! This is my last trip so we did some sight seeing, Lake Tahoe, Crader lake, went up to Anchorage Alaska 2 days ago and has some time off there, got to see the Northern lights last night coming down to Lovely Omaha going accross Canada!

That guy in the last picture probably filled his pants when you guys came down that valley and buzzed him. I'm surprised you got a picture of him smiling. Was the picture taken before or after you strafed him with the wing?:-laf
