Ferds having Dyno Day in Austin Sat Feb 7 7

Anyone going to Houston Dyno along I-45

Well It seems that the Mississippi event Planning are well underway. Slight change in plans though. We will have TWO events MAY and OCTOBER

SETDR is pleased to announce and invite all who are interested TO:

MAY 7th, 8th, 9th

Crawfish Boil/Cookout/Campout

Place:

McHenry, Mississippi (about 20 miles north of Gulfport Ms on Hwy 49)

Scheduled events:

Friday May 7th Arrivals and camp set up ( all day )

Saturday May 8th Red Creek Offroad Park ( for those that are interested )

Fishing in the pond, Swimming in the pool, or just relaxin

and shootin the bull (Your choice)

Crawfish cookin to start around (3:00pm) Bomb fire at Dusk

Sunday May 9th Sleepin in late ( for those with hangovers) or back to the Off Road park

There will be two tables of mudbugs ( Weaky Squeaky and Eye Poppin Hot ) for the most part it will be BYOB cause we don’t contribute to the delinquency of Minors ( everyone knows the ONLY difference between Men and Boys is the price of their toys!)

We need a head count of all that plan on attending so we know how much crawfish to get. Only respond to this post if you defiantly plan on attending. We need to know how many in your party and camping equipment you plan on bringing (ie tent, camper, Hotel or sleeping where you fall). We also need to know if you plan on going to the Off Road Park so we can make arrangements prior to the events and maybe receive a discount on admission. Right now admission is $25 for the day per truck and $5 per person who just walk in. SEE: http://www.redcreekoffroad.com

Any donations to help sponsor this event can be made out to:

Joseph Gendreau and William Burns (two signatures required for you protection)

1298 West McHenry Rd

McHenry MS 14589

All money left over will be donated back to local chapters based on participation percentages. Any suggestions, questions, please feel free to PM or Email me: or billysgoat at http://www.setdr.org

The only worrry I have is the Bomb Fire.

Look I know how it gets out in the Mississippi woods and if yall are thinking of building a fire and putting Iron Bombs in it then lets at least get the crawfish a safe distance away

I'll be there, and I'll be donating a sack of mudbugs. I just hope there's someone that can boil them right. Gotta be HOT! Lot's of Tony's needed.

I’m Joe one of the planners for this event. Thanks for getting the word out.

Just to add to the Post:

We are planning 2 events this year for the south, and southeastern region. This event in the first to see what kind of response we get from the various groups. The second event is scheduled for October ( Mississippi Mayhem ). This Event will be held in conjunction with Crusin the Coast one of the largest national Hot Rod and truckin Shows. SEE: http://www.cruisinthecoast.com/

To All Interested in Attending:

Red Creek Off Road ( SEE: http://www.redcreekoffroad.com ) was formed by the local Jeep Club after a bunch of us nearly got arrested one weekend trying to find a place to play in the Mud. Did ya’ll know that it is illegal to trespass on a Military Installation? Anyways after that fiasco the group found a generous donor who fronted a large sum of money to purchase a huge piece of land in Southern Mississippi for the purpose of Havin fun Legally! Let’s give a big YEA HAW for their efforts!!!

I have 8 acres about 10 mile from the park that I am making available for this Event. We have a stocked pond, Inground pool, Hot tub, and the property backs up to the National Forest. If anybody is interested in paintball, bring your stuff and we’ll set up a Night Game in the Woods. We’re game for just about anything ( within legal limits) so if you have any other suggestions feel free to post them and we’ll try to accommodate all requests. The property is purty much secluded so we can let it all hang out within reason! If you plan on bringing a Camper we need to know so we can keep space available for you. As said in previous post we really need a head count to plan the amount of crawfish and food needed.

As Usual we will need some Donations to make the event a Success. We will be opening a Checking account at one of the local Banks just for this purpose, that will require Billy’s AND My signature on the checks (For your protection). The Wife is an accountant so she’ll keep track of what goes where and why incase there are any questions.

Billy has a Paypale account if you prefer that. Contact him at

LOL! That's fine with me... . as long as we have someone that knows what they're doing I'm fine. I hate when someone talks trash about knowing how to cook and then it tastes like skunk a$$. I'll admit I don't know a whole lot about cooking them cause I'm usually on the drinking team. ;)

Okay got mail heading to you jgendr and i lined us up some deer sausage. I called three hunters back home and will see how much I can get together.

Reb> Its hard to mess up crawfish. Hotter the better I say. Not too much seasoning gets in the tail anyhow... but the HEAD>> Now thats a different story.

Now have you ever had some good corn or an onion or a mass of Garlic out of a pot..... Those bad boys get HOTTT!!!!!! I bet some deer Sausage would get hot as heck in a boil!!!!!!

That's the truth jponder! You absolutely must include some potatoes and corn, a few onions and some garlic in the boil. My freaking mouth is watering just thinking about it!

I think Billy Goat said they might do some shrimp also. Now shrimp will soak that heat up more than anything. You gotta back off that Cayenne a little for the shrimp, but ya gota to bring it on the mud bugs.

Wonder what the avail on Blue Crab will be in May. Had a friend from Atlanta in La once and we went out to Eat down in Manchac well My Dad and I were thinking of getting a couple dozen Crabs. We asked him if he ate crabs and he said Sure , so we got a couple of Dozen. Well the grabs get there and we go to work... ... He's just sitting there, I say whats wrong? He says Man I thought these were like the crabs you got at red Lobster where you just stick the forks in the legs and dip the meat in the Butter, Me and My dad just bust out Laughing and he learned to eat some Blue Crab real FAST! :)

I really miss not being able to easily get boiled shrimp, crab, and crawfish at the local store.

Aw its just a little stroll for the cummins. I think they have 10 so far. It would be nice to get about 30 people there.

CHIME IN LA. and MISS People. Lets get this thing rolling!

Congratulations,

 JPONDER
