Ferds having Dyno Day in Austin Sat Feb 7 7

Anyone going to Houston Dyno along I-45

I've emailed my buddy to see what kind of deal we can get on the bugs. I'm estimating that we will need at least 4 sacks so that's what I'm going on for now.

Looking forward to the even... to bad it's 3 freaking months away!

You said your buddy was in Crowley Right? Are those pond bugs or spillway bugs? I'll bet bet that jgendr aint never been faced with some hard shell spillway bugs late in the season. his thumbs might be bloody if he thinks he can take my truck from me.

Thats the thing about Damn Yankees, they can eat the first spring produce well, but when the shells get hard, THEY CANT HANG WITH A LOUISIANA MAN!!!!!!!!

OUCH! These are farm-raised pond runners. If they can't give a great deal then there may be some Basin bugs too.

We need at least one sack of real hard shell bugs.

Jgendr is trying to take my truck:eek:

I need some bugs that are hard to peel to slow him down

John,

I maybe a damn Yankee, but I've been "southernized":D

"A piece of tail is a piece of tail"

It don't make any difference whether they are hard shells or not, Cause as far as i'm concerned that CTD is "MINE"

I think we'll need more than 4 sacks if there's going to be a contest.

It's going to be really funny watching you drive back to GA on that 250. Ugly has got to see this one:--)

Well Bad News:

As for the dyno, David says his better half gave him a really scary look when he mentioned it, seems mothers day weekend was not a good idea so far as Penny was concerned. I told him not to worry about it and to just plan on being here in October. I think we will get enough people for that event to cover the dyno regardless.

Sorry

Joe

I'll tell you the way to check those guys pumper... .....

Lets start asking questions on how to play Bouray!

Now if that Gender is really Crawfishedized then he ought to know how to play Bouray!

What say you Jgender... . would you mind if a Bouray Game broke out at the boil. :)

Yes I've been crawfishized as you say, However:

I ain't been truely cajinized. LOL

What the H E double hockey sticks is BOURAY???

As long as it don't include blowin sometin up ( unlike billy:D ) your game to try anything you want. I maybe even interested in learnin too as long as is is legal. anybody know a good zidigo band willing to play for us??? OOOO Boy !

I went and played bouray this weekend. It's only a card game that you can add gambling to if you so desire. It's basically like hearts but the trump card changes every time a new hand is dealt. Pretty simple. I relearned it this weekend while I was drunk so you can imagine the simplicity.

Most of the cajun bands are over around Lafayette but I think most of them travel over to MS for gigs.

Can't wait for the event!

Yeah I'd rather play Bouray than Poker. Up in the hills we play it different than the Cajuns. I have heard that when they have a spilt pot they actually split it where as we leave the money till someone gets a majority of the tricks. We also set a Max on the BOO. A BOO is when you dont catch a trick and have to match the pot

That's how we played it. If it splits we ante up again and build the pot till someone wins. And we also just anted up instead of raising and such and a boo was double the ante.

If things go the way I expect, I have a date lined up for the event. Leze le bon temps roulet!

:) if i can make it my buddy owns that huge crab picking plant when you are going through manchac on the left. i will bring a couple of sacks and boil them my way. I learned how to boil while i was in college my roomate was from Pier Part, La.

One thing i can tell you i will be using is oranges yes oranges. These redbugs will make you slap your moma! I will try to be there. The problem is by then i will be CTD less unless i can find a good 97 4x4 5spd 12v 3500 before then.

CAT you ain't the only one looking for that exact same truck. Yes I had forgotten about cooking with the orange's and they do make it tase gooooood. Hell if you need a ride you can jump in with me. I'm definately planning on going and I don't think I'm too far away from you.

FYI there are TONS of those trucks for sale in east TX. I saw a mint black rig just like the one you wanted with about 70k on it for sale about 6 months ago in Longview, TX and they only wanted about $18k. DAMN I should have bought that truck. If I can find one I'd like to trade my Y2K but I'd end up being upside down on it. :-(
