Well guys, I finally took her to the dyno today. We had our local event, so I thought I would give it a try. 598 HP and 1108 TQ with the crazy larry tune and a TST along with Piers twins. No other engine mods. Fuel system is a stock in tank and mallory 90 GPH pump pushing into the fuel filter. #2 only 45 psi of boost I was looking to crest 600, but am more than satisfied for now. :D

Holey moley! These 3rd gens just amaze the crap out of me! Do you know what you Correction factor was? And what clutch are you using to hold that kind of power???
 
Southbend FE clutch. As for the correction factor, I am not sure The dyno sheets usually show the correction factor, but this time it doesn't???????? Maybe the numbers are uncorrected??? That was the first thing I noticed when I got home. I plan to call the shop on Monday and find out.
 
Tomeygun, not sure, I have my dyno sheets sitting here and I don't see a correction factor or anything listed, anyone else know?

I won't mention any names, but some Ford guy was supposed to video the runs, but he was so busy ooohing and ahhhing over my runs :p that he forgot to video it. :confused: :-laf



Of course, now that I mentioned that, I am sure there will be a black mail photo pop up. Or worse yet, probably the video. :eek:
 
levels 7, 8 and 9 pretty much all made 598 HP. The TQ still climbed though asI moved the TQ up. It went from 1070 to 1085 to 1108.

one thing is for sure. that truck should be called the livestock express. it hauls some serious ***

And by the way, I cant imagine wanting injectors after you almost break 600hp without them! I mean really now, How high can you take a stock injector?!?

Well, we have the diesel drags coming up in about a month. I am thinking about making a run. I might just have to sell the chevelle if this runs good enough. :D

Tom, I called the dyno shop today. The computer system was down , but they said they think the correction factor was around 1. 02 or something. They are going to be emailing me the runs when the system and website comes back up. I will be able to look at the runs both corrected and uncorrected when I get them on my computer.
