Crew cab carpet

Well it took two weeks for the guy I ordered carpet from to decide that they can't make it for a crew cab. Any body else had luck without just ordering two sets of regular carpet.

Well, I just got off the phone with Summit. They say that they have the right stuff. I will let you know in two weeks if it works or not. mark

Anybody done business here?

I just called this company (Salesco, 800-407-8665) and inquired about a crewcab carpet for my 85. The guy, after a brief pause, says yeah, they got it for my truck. I asked him if it was showing for a CREWCAB, and he says yeah again. Dumfounded by his response, I ask him if it was a one piece or two. He says one piece, and cost is 199. 00. I tell him I would rather have it in vinyl and he says no problem, same price, would I like to place an order? I sorta stutter around and mumble sumthing about how I can't believe they actually have it, and he says that they would have to make it, but that they have the patterns for it, no problem, would I like to place an order? Then I ask if there is a website or some pics he can e-mail me so I can lay an eyeball on it, and he says no, but they have it, would I like to place an order?

I have, in the past, been screwed (dry, no less ), and am wondering if any of ya'll have ever dealt with this company before, and what your results were. Website is http://www.salesco.com/carpet/ for those interested.

Well, the stuff form summit came in and it fit fine in the front ,but did not fit in the back. they said that crew and ext cab was the same stuff. I don't think so. It was one piece. Maybe a shop could have made it look better, but I had to have something in the truck. My advise is go ahead and order it and and charge it on a credit card. If it does not fit like they say, cancel it and send it back. Let us know how it goes. If it fits I would buy another set. Mark
