Does anybody have a clue on what I would have to do to a diesel truck that comes from Canada to the US to make it legal? Are there any fees, or conversions of the exhast/engine?? Or can I simply just drive it across and register it? Thanks for any help

Red,

Not that I am an expert on these matters, but, unless you're planning on moving to Radio Free Kommunista Kalifornina, I'd think everything that needs to be done was done at the factory.

I would tend to think Canada has some safety & emissions laws that are a bit more strict than the contiguous 48-1.

BTW, I hate those D**n'ed daylight running lights that are being shoved down our throats because the Mfrs' claim that it costs more to delete them rather than installing them. If I didn't have the sense to turn on my own lights, I shouldn't be allowed a license to drive. ;)

Everything above is my opinion like it or not! :p
