2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Crossmember questions

How many of the guys with stacks had to cut the very front most crossmember in the bed, does it hurt the integrity of the bed, how much had to be removed, My crossmember looks to be directly in line with where i want my stacks. Any help and definately pictures would be appreciated.

kevin..... i made a very small notch in my front cross member... . i'll get u some pictures before i leave for work today... ...

i also did a small notch in the cross but it hasnt hurt my bed yet how big of a up pipe are you going to go with i went with a 4" just my . 02

cahammer, kevin has a 5" y pipe..... so he'll have to notch a bit more then what we did...

It turns out only the in bed stuff is 5 inch, it still has a 4 inch pipe after the y goes through the bed,(y has a 4 inch reducer welded to it to go through the floor then goes to 5 that sits above the floor) not exctly what i was wanting, but it doesn't really matter, anything over 4 is overkill anyway the way i hear it. and it looks like a full 5 inch system.
