Terry no problem,

The other thing to watch with small lift kits is the pitman arm to leaf spring clearance. I bought a 4" drop and it hit when the drivers side tire would come up. The 2. 5" does not.

The steering shaft to use I Think is a 2wd but not for sure. I just shortened my 4wd shaft. On my older style shaft I carefully ground the end where it was "crimped" on and then cut the shaft. Bolted it back into the truck and welded it to the proper dimension. If it is carfully taken apart it will center up great.

Maybe this winter I will remove the 440 and cut out the motor mount/cross memeber and make one that will allow a lot more clearance for the cross over, and the I could put on the high steer, to move the tie rod above the leaf spring too.

Just got back from wheelin the 75 and still love the crossover. The wife also wheeled the 90 CTD we just got. Ran great, needs some more additions like, cross over steering, lockers in both diffs, and some 39" boggers, twins, stacks,  :D and the list goes on!! Boy am I glad my wife likes the same habits I doo;)
