After removing the drivers side battery tray the other night, my cruise control doesn't turn on today. Light on the dash turns on, but it never engages.

I disconnected the servo to remove the battery tray, but I got everything hook back up fine so I'm thinking I have to "reset" the system somehow. Perhaps it is a problem b/c I had my batteries unplugged for about an hr... anyone have any ideas?

Bob-

When I disconnected the servo, there were only two wire connections. That's all I disconnected. Never saw any vacuum lines... where would they be?

There's one down there under the battery or around the steering pump. If your vent controller don't work in all positions and instead works only on defrost, you have pulled it off. Its easy to do. Been there and done that.

azcummins ~ WyoJim told you about all I would have. :) I don't know where to go from there. Hope WyoJim can pick up and help you further than I can. :--)

yeah... all climate controls work. I'm stumped! IT would be nice if it worked before monday when I have to drive back to COlorado from Tennessee

hahaha... I've been blowing fuses left and right recently... mainly due to my own fault though. I'll check that.

My old last thought would be that while I was POR-15ing that area I painted over a ground connection. I dunno if that stuff conducts elec. but that might be the issue.

There should be a small hard plastic vacuum line from the server to a T connector on the hose from the vacuum pump. It can break or get holes eat in it from battery acid.
