Anyone else just cruising down the highway and the cruise cancels itself. I can hit resume and it resumes as if nothing happened. It has done this twice in the past month both times on long trips and towing. I'm not sure if its related to towing or just coincidence. I just turned 15k

I welcome any suggestions as I avoid the dealerships as much as possible.

Thanks in advance.

My brake seems to be sticking just a hair. I wonder if the brake pedal is vibrating down and the switch is getting a signal?

On my '04 mine will quit too, only I must stop & turn Ram off before it will work again. Thenit works again but only for 4/5 seconds then again cancels itself. Who knows? Dealer no doubt will only simply replace - big $$.

Put foot under the brake peddle to see if it stays on , if so then you may need to look at the peddle linkage , return spring , bake sw. , adjust the brake sw. so its a little farther from the peddle 1/8 " .

My brother and I had 04 trucks 4X4 and it would happen every now and then with both trucks. Never did figure it out in 12 years.
