cruise control inop

I have a 2001QC, 4X4,SB, HO 6SPD, I had put a Edge Comp box in but hadn't spliced the wires. I just got the Blue Chip pump cover and installed it and hooked up the red wire to the Comp grey wire and used the Comp grnd. At first my engine lite was on but I disconnected the batteries and waited a 1hr then, reconnected them and the lite went out. Now my cruise control doesn't work. The cruise lite name comes on but won't engage. Is there a fuse somewhere that I can't find or am I going to have to take everthing back off and take it to the dealer. That will have a negative blow factor.

MHughes ~ first and easiest thing to check the small vacumm line that connects to the cruise control servo under the drivers side battery for loose or disconnected. Easy to knock loose when doing other things. I had the dealer do it once on fuel filter change and I did it once too.

Bob, thanks alot for the info. It wasn't the one under the battery, but I started looking around and it was a small vacumn line up by the windshield cowling that had gotten pulled off. Hooked it back up and c/c now works. Now to save up some more money for some additional bombing and see what other trouble I can get into. Again, Thanks alot.
