I have looked for a fuse, cleaned the switches, looked for a relay! Has anyone got any suggestion? It will light up the CRUISE light on the dash and that is all. I am a little bit of a machanical, so any advice would be helpful before I have to take it to the Dodgesealer! Oo.

Thank!

i have recently learned that o3's and 04's still have a vacuum pump for the cruise on account of the throttle having a cable going out to the aaps under the battery box. i would start there

The 6 speed trucks don't have a vacuum pump.

You're not getting a MIL? As far as I know, the cruise function is controlled by the ECM, so your best bet would actually be for a dealer to hook up a DRB to it and see what's going on.

Any chance you got the steering-wheel mounted switches dirty? Maybe the "SET" button isn't functioning. Or maybe there's a problem somewhere in the steering column wiring?

I assume the functionality of those switches could be checked using a DRB-III.
