Cruise Control Minimum Speed Adjustment

Is there a way to allow the cruise control to be set below 35MPH?

I don't think so. . I drive truck for a living and the Volvo trucks turn off at 30. Just depends on the Builder

I've been wondering if the dealer could reflash the puter for that. The manual says 30 MPH and above. Mine won't work until slightly above 35 MPH.

No, I don't think so. It is a computer controlled function almost certainly established by programming.

Has it always been 35 mph engage speed? My 2003 will not engage below 45 mph. Perhaps on the newer trucks Chrysler lowered the speed. My old work truck (2003 duramax) and new work truck (2008 1/2 ton chevy) will both engage cc at 25 mph, which I think is a nice feature for road scouting fields.

The three Cummins powered Dodges I've owned will set at 35mph, not below. I think the owner's manual mentions that set speed.

I have to set it above 35mph, but then i can decel down to 30. Any lower it kicks off.
