I was going to buy a cruise unit from another member. After looking at the FSM and my truck, I don't think it has any plugs. Does anybody know if you can retrofit cruise? Or is the wiring harness different on cruise equipped trucks? The only loose plug I see on the drivers inner fender has 5 ports with 3 wires. I think this is the PCM (code reader) plug.

Help?

Can you see me jumping up and down like a 4 year old and saying, "no! no! no!"? :-laf I was hoping to find a factory unit. I guess I will check on an aftermarket one too.

Look at your FSM Pete, I believe the wiring is/was there. At least for 92' it was an available option... I gathered up the parts to put it on mine before I realized an aftermarket was the only way to put it on the earlier trucks. I picked up a 92' column and misc. under hood items but didn't score the puter...

I've go a Rostra unit on mine and it works well. Only problem I've had was that after installing LED taillights they didn't pull enough current for ti to engage. Had to rewire it through the cruise side of the brake switch instead of connecting to the taillight circuit in order to ground the brake sense line.
