Well we changed to the 3k governor spring and did some more work on truck! Installed the 16cm housing! Well here is the problems we encountered-need a air gap setting number for the crank position sensor. Also the voltage for the TPS at idle. Here is the major problem-cruise contol is now at runaway-I set it and its speed increases about 15mph over its setting-so what do I do to correct this-any and all help would be appreciated-always-thanks in advance!

The crank sensor gap is around . 050". This setting isn't to touchy. You have a wide area to play with.

The TPS setting is . 75 volt to around 1. 0 volt at idle position. Some of us use this to taylor our shift points to what we want. The test the setting you go from the white wire to the black wire. You use a 10 MM wrench to change the setting. The TPS has a flat spot on the bottom side to slide the wrench on. I run my TPS at . 85 volts.

Check these setting and get back with us.
