Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Cruise control with smarty

Any on experiencing a surging/oscillate cruise when running a smarty (sw)8 with edge juice

chris you have a vacuum actuated cc



Cut off a 2" section from the WD40 can tube (red), insert it into the vacume line at the firewall. The vacume line runs from the middle of the firewall to under the drivers side battery. This basically makes the cruise control vacume line smaller thus resulting in less fluxuation (surge).



EDIT: The needle valve effectively does the same thing only you can close it down to just a miniture hole which is enough to run the cruise control
