my cruise contro doesnt come on when i put it on. if i kept tryen sometimes it will come on. Anyone no anything about this?thanks for your help. AWESOM SITE!
Check the vacuum and electrical connections at the cruise servo. Check the throttle cable too, from the servo to the APPS (above injection pump). If all this looks ok, and the fuse isn't blown, you probably have a bad clockspring or switch in your steering wheel. Seen this happen a few times. Good luck!
had the same type problem with my 98. 5 theres a test sequence in the manual to check the servo. my servo was bad. replaced it now all ok. are your heater controls working ? if not check vac . lines from pump and along the upper cowl. make sure plug is all the way in the servo which is located below the battery box.
