2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Cruise Limit

I discovered something interesting about my '02 ETH/DEE work truck this afternoon - cruising home with a break in traffic, I ran up to a little over 90 MPH and set the cruise control. But it would not stay(around 2500 RPM) - it would back down to 2400 RPM and run there at around 86 MPH. I tried several times, even tried to ramp up with the "acelerate" button, but no luck. Seems to be a limit of some sort.



Anyone else with this experience?

Same thing here. Max speed on cruise and accelerate button is 85.
