If you're planning to BOMB your truck later on, you'll regret the additional expense of installing a cruise control now. With a 24 valve engine, it's impossible to find a power level setting on whatever fueling box you're using, that will prevent the annoying "surge" (acceleration/deceleration) that occurs... .

Just a little something to keep in mind. I don't miss my cruise all that much. My last trip, I drove 16 hours straight home from Florida, pulling a trailer, never used the cruise. And I was comfortable. So much so, I was sorry to see the trip end.

Jhanson,when it run off the deep end I dont let it get passed 2. 5k but it would keep going VERY VERY fast. It doesn't always do it but you never know when. D. C. said nothing wrong and no fix for it. No reflash has fixed it. Was told in a nut shell TFB thats the way it is.

This is not true. I have had no problem with my cruise on any level.
