Whoa, baby, that was awesome!

The only thing that would have made it better is if there had been 10 Japanese people in the truck who ran away screaming when they saw the mining truck approaching (think Godzilla)!

If I'm not mistaken, I think that was filmed out in this neck of the desert, rumor has it they also did a lil' POS car that literally was a pancake afterwards.

Man it would really ruin your day to be sitting in your truck at the wrong place at the wrong time reading the paper and drinking coffee! One moment of terror and you're at the pearly gates wondering what happened.

That actually happend in a mine here in Norway a few years ago. Two of those big ones met and one of them backed into a clearing besides the road, and did not notice backing over a small Skoda pick-up (size of a VW Jetta) He noticed the flat car on the way back from the dump-site, and they had a horrible time until the rescue-team arrived and could open up the tin-box ant to their relief see the car was empty. It turned out it was a bird-watcher that had parked the car and took off for a hike in the near forrest. I operate Volvos biggest wheel-loader, and at only 55 metric tons you loose control on whats close to the equipment, can't imagine how it will be in one of those giants.

theres always the pictures of the red super duty that's partially squashed that most everybody's seen running around the net, it seems that the f550 or whatever it was made a better wheel chock then that f150 :-laf

That wasn't even a big truck. Looked to be a 789 cat. we have 12 of them at the mine I work at we also have 793 cat trucks that are way bigger yet. We used to have an 830E Komatsu that is the same class truck as the 793 but is physically bigger yet. I get to drive them every day. :D Pullin wrenches for a living has its perks some days.

i knew the 450s were 8s but i thought the 550s were 10s, maybe just some because i remember thinking scoring some 19s from one the ones around here would be cool if i could find a wreck but they had too many damn holes

f450 & f550 still have 8 lug wheels, just a larger pattern than the f250 & f350 [8x225mm vs 8x170mm]
