I just bought a 95 CTD w/ auto and I can't get the cruse control to work? I don't know anything about a 12 V so any suggestions would be a big help.

I just bought my 2nd '95 2500 w/ 5spd, and cruise didn't work. . The control unit is under the battery box on the drivers side. I found the little vacuum hose broken on mine. They're little hard plastic lines and kinda fragile after yrs being exposed to all the heat in eng compartment. . Mine was broken right down at the bottom where it goes into the 'dashpot'. Haven't bought a new one yet, or I'd give you the part#. JohnG

Mine didn't work for quite a while. After checking everything under the battery box I thought I was going to have to take it in. Then I read in the TDR to try spraying the TPS with electrical contact cleaner. I gave it a try, and it has worked ever since.

Check Vacuum for sure.

One time I had 4x4 not working (thought it was because I had not used for awhile), Cruise did not work and then it started getting cold and my vent directors did not work.

All it was, a hose had come loose. So simple, but makes you freak out.

Check the cruise servo under the driver-side battery. Could have a hole in it from battery acid. Mine does, haven't replaced it yet.
