C'Springs convoy to ATS Summit, 12 Feb

CSTDR TDR members:



There will be a convoy up to the ATS/RMTDR Summit on 12 Feb.



Kick-off will be breakfast at IHOP, North Academy blvd (just North of Chapal Hills Mall): ~ 6:30 am, with a departure for Denver at 7:30 sharp. Please reply back to this thread if you think you'll hook up with us so we know who to be looking for. I bet we get at least TJ, Trevor, Doug, and Joe... but will there be a big, fast Excursion following Joe - that is the question!



This'll form up nicely as the month go on but I figured I'd hook this up now. C-ya's -

Need an alternate organizer from the 'Springs - help!

Alright - I'm getting laser vision done on Monday , which will only give me 4 days to heal ... and I'm not thinking that'll be enough to go to an event, especially one with fumes and smoke :{ . Mind you, I love the fumes and smoke, but my eyes won't . I have to be reeeeeal careful what I do for the first two weeks - it is life-long critical that I'm not around lots of dust and such, so I may elect to just stay still. Gotta do it amigos.

I want to ask if any of y'all Colo Spgs TDR bubbas going up can honcho this for me (meet folks at Sears, do some organization).

Heck, I won't even be able to read a book or computer screen for several days :{ , so I really need one of y'alls help .

Please drop me a line and I'll get you in touch with Mike Lockner who we will meet up in Denver.

My last hope is the results of my post-op checkup on Friday - if they give me a good bill of health and if I'm extremely careful I may yet go, and at the very least I may just meet y'all for breakfast... ... . breakfast rules... .

I will head things up if sam can't make it. I'll give him a call tomorrow night since it is already 10:30pm and he should be resting up. Anyways, It looks like DHatfield, afterburner, and myself for the convoy. I'll also be checking on my neighbor and see if he is coming. Is everyone planning to make it to IHOP at 0630 on Saturday?

My rig won't be there - it just destroyed a Ranger....

Well I may be able to go, but my rig's going nowhere any time soon - It just did the 'Battle of the Gladiators' against an '04 Ford Ranger. At least mine rolls and the engine is good to go, but the Ranger is toast. No injuries, but the Ranger guy is lucky to be alive. Below is the post I started on the 1st gen thread. Hope to see y'all there fellas.

Sorry to hear about yer rig Sambo, I guess that transformation project just added another angle. Maybe we'll still see ya. Maybe you'll get to see our much larger convoy pulling in from el norte :-laf
