MDTDC Annual Christmas Party

what happened to the Jersey guys

WOW, would love to head up that way... We have a b-day party on Friday night, will probably be a LATE night... :-laf

Hopefully you'll be camping again in a few weeks??? Do they have any rentals available??? I'll drag ToolMan along also. OK for the wife and kids to show up also??

Wife and kids..... yes. Rentals, don't know. Again in a couple of weeks, yes.

This campground is one of the least expensive in the area. Not much for extras, but campfires and drinkling are allowed :)

See anybody up my way... ... ... ... . no.

Well yet another DT trackbar under the shop belt. This one was by far the best so far. Still have that annoying problem with the 4. 5" bolt that goes thru a 4. 4" hole  . The Starkmeister has to bering her back in for one last axle centering check. all in all the IAT made a difference  and the truck does not wander.

Hi guys, how are things in CT? Maybe next summer I can sneak down for coffee nite sometime. Will have to find a place to stay overnite, I think its about 5 hours from Syracuse. Any hoo, I am inviting anybody that wants to go for a ride to upstate NY to the picnic/wrench,B. S. ,drink, whatever, get together at my house. Hope to meet up with you guys some time.

Upstate picnic and wrench weekend. Place; my house, just east of Syracuse.

When; pick the weekend, Sept 24+25, Oct 1+2, or Oct 8+9. Plenty of parking

for trucks, campers, tents, etc. I have lots of tools and access to more. All TDRer's welcome! Bring your wives, kids, girlfriends, there is a park across the street for basketball, and kids. I'm planning on the go,thinking burgers and dogs, everybody bring a dish to pass. I know it's getting late and school is starting, but we should have some good weather yet. If anybody wants to show up friday afternoon that's o. k. , my wife is usually home. She's in school and might be doing homework some of the weekend, she apologizes in advance. :)

Let's make this happen guys, we tried once, let's do it!

AJ, How's the new Track-Bar?

Any more news on the FEMA Trip? I would still like to do it. Moose00

I called in Saturday morning to find out what was up since they said they would call me Friday night. They said there was a mis-communication, that they would call Monday night for a Tuesday departure. They already had enough names in the hat and weren't taking more. It's getting hard to get any information--I have a feeling that the response is pretty good, perhaps a little overwhelming, and everyone has a ton of questions.

Thanks Matt, I did put in a call and John was not in, and I left him a Voice Mail. I think that they have enough help, so there for I am not excepting an answer. Moose00

hey moose - I really noticed a much Tighter Truck as soon as I pulled out Friday night. Down side for the moment is that the Steering Wheel is off centered to the right by about four - five inches. I'm getting used to it but it is alittle unusua  l at the moment. Talked to Tim after about 5 miles down the rode and told him about it , and he said I could take it to a shop and have it fixed , or he recomended to let the trac bar break-in for a week or two and we will try to center the wheel better at the next coffee night. But beside that I would defintly recommend this to you or anyone that wants to sure-up there handling alittle bit . I also may look in to the Borg. steering shaft to tighten up the wheel even more. The Trip to Alabama still sounds like a intresting thing to do escpecially if we could a bunch of us to do it at the same time. Keep me informed on any new details that come up. - A. J. Stark

There is a TDI club meet just over the border in MA, off 91. There is going to be a bio-diesel demo as well as wrenching, beer and well, probably much like our meets.

I'm thinking of going... anyone else...
