Instead of swapping your rear axle, why not just get a set of wheels for a single wheel 3500 !!

Because seccond Gen dodge never had a single wheel 3500. 3rd gen trucks use a different axle manufacturer all together. The DANA 80 hybred in the 3500 is a different animal than that of the 2500 70's. the 3500's have a shorter axle tube with longer axles themselves to accomodate for the larger brakes.

I'd like to make sure my KDP is dead before I go to Wisconsin for the holidays, how much is it gonna cost me for the shop and experts and would it be possible to do it on the 16th??

OOOffaa I gotta see if that guy still has the Jig. It ended up that he was bumped up on the list , got it , and did it before we could get a KDP party in order.

I was going to tab it, which means the front half of the motor needs to come apart-not to keen about drilling-the thought of drilling my manifold to install the pyrometer is giving me nightmares, mostly because of Mr. Murphy... .
