Thanks, TDR Staff

Possible Northeast TDR dyno day, lets set it up.

OK tim were sorry

I'm not sure about the rear. I think both of us have 60's in front, though. I know I'm going to end up with 35" or taller tires. If I keep my 3. 54's the optimum RPM range for my engine will be well over 80 miles an hour. Not too good! BTW, I left strict instructions with my girlfriend to put stamps on the envelope/check I put together yesterday and get it in the mailbox. I'll follow that with a phone call in a few minutes, to preclude any blonde moments.

Jim what truck you bringin down friday if you bring down the 3rd gen i like to take a close look at the wheel skins and see if there interchangable with mine. I suppose to be gettin a lift for my truck (kore) and i want to change the wheels with alum one that look like your skins but I be foolish to do so if i can just change them and put on some 37s. then my cowl hood clear head lights and 3rd brake. strobe it all out done.

Ooops. Looks like I could buy ring and pinion gears all day long on EBay. I think the carriers stay the same. Mostly, I don't want to ave to rip the housings out and bring them someplace to get them set up. I'd prefer to just take the covers off, pull the axles out, change the gears out, replace my leaky axle tube seals, and install all my new EGR brake goodies right on the truck. I know setting pinion depth is precise business. Might have to pull the whole deals out of the truck to get it done right. If I could be sure I could get those control arm bushing bolts loose, I'd buy some longer arms and new bushings while I had it out. I threw everything I had at those things when I was putting in the Kore stuff. They no move.

Oh, the 191's finally made it here. I ordered a lift pump yesterday. How does one go about checking for a bad/leaky injector? I'm still gaining oil somehow.

I want to eliminate all the 'cheap' possibilities first before I get worried about the P-pump. :(

Try giving Pete@ Hamden Automotive a call for the Ring & Pinion swap. Very good shop to deal with when it comes to setting up gears. The job can be done in the truck with the correct tools, and he is very reasonable with his prices, for both parts and labor! 203-498-2212

Paul #1 I'll have the 12V with me fri. I dont know if there interchangeable, since mine are alloys, yours are steel. Im planning on ripping them off if I can figure out what kind of glue is holding them on, I dont think there going to come off peacefully though.

Paul#2 If a leak is not visible coming from the top of the injector hold down nut you will have to pull them and get them pop tested probably. If it were a tip leaking, Id figure you would have lots of blue smoke on startup and a rough running condition.

TC/BR you coming tonight, let me know Ill bring the HD emblems.

LN6 you guys ever get the fleetguard Fuel filters in stock for the 12V? if not can you grab me a baldwin and Ill pay you when I see yo utonight?

Jim I wanna see you about trying a test fit of the stack :--) its been calling my name ever since I spotted it all lonely in that can :)

I sold a 1970 Chevelle convertible a few months ago. The guy that bought it from me turned around and sold it on EBay as an original LS6 car for $150,000. The guy that bought it is suing the guy that bought it from me for fraud.
