Possible Northeast TDR dyno day, lets set it up.

OK tim were sorry

How did it go today?

Torque, I take it the air is out. Is there something with the ABS that needs to be reset and/or to be re-bled?

AJ, How did you make out? I think you need a EGT gage to go with that hole in the ATS Manifold  Moose00 Oo.

Brake pedal still goin to the floor... :(

Thats weird and sucks also. Gotta be air in there somewheres.

AJ probably will be online to tell you how it went a little later on tonight. He's busy at Sears right now trying to fill an empty spot in his toolbox :-laf :-laf :-laf

Dude we bled the snot out of those things. The only thing I can think of is that we need to dismount the calipers and have them upside down (Bleeders up) and bleed them. We need a piece of 1X2 or somethin for them to clamp down on. You did bench fill them I hope????

I didnt even notice the bleeders were on the bottom. Thats dumb. Any air would come through the lines into the caliper than go up making an air pocket at the top, right?

LOL- Unfortunatly Due to the ongoing investagation to recover the missing/magic socket. I was unable to make the Voyage to the local wallingford sears hardware to fill the Vacant Hole Labeled 13MM. Efforts to go tommrow will be Doubled! ANYWAYS- When i arrived home I popped the Hood to show my father what JIM, MARC, And I (THANK YOU MUCH- BTW) had done, I went on to tell him about the mystery 13mm, and as i was showin him where abouts it had dropped A Shinny object Down by the Frame Caught my immediate eyes. So like a kid on Christmas day i rushed underneath the truck to grab the object. And What was it... ..... TORQUE'S SHINNY EXTENDABLE INSPECTION MIRROR!!- it had fallen down and didn't budge the whole 20 mile ride from derby to wallingford!!!- The mystery 13mm Socket was no where to be seen. :( Ohh well!

As for the installation of the ATS Manifold I think everything went pretty Smooth- no snapped bolts- nothing stripped-no missing parts- ect...

Performance wise after replacing the wastegate DID notice greater amount of boost going through the gears. , Although It was tough to really tell because there wasnt much of a load on the truck besides the sander. , and when I was noticing a boost problem Before it was when I was pulling my trailer, so the next time i tow I will notice if the replacement wastegate helped. I will put the boost-leak detector on tomorrow to make sure everything is nice and tight... once again thanks to all very much... A. J.

Umm I don't think marc benfilled the callipers- I could be wrong, but i was there for most of the brake job and i did not see him benchfilling them... .

Hey gus where can I get a schedule for the next meet? I can't believe I cleaned the garage today when I could have come out to say HI and meet some new faces.

I think whoever requested that tool needs to be held accountable! How in the world did we not see that when looking for the socket for ½ hr?

Hi Rich. Rumor has it next Fri. night. Best to keep an eye out on this forum.

No, I did not bench fill them, all the fluid would have come out if I did:confused:

Also, one bleeder is on the top, the other side is on the bottom, boxes were labeled R and L. The calipers had no markings.

Driving today was a little better. I do believe it is just air. Friday I am going to pull both front and rear and bleed all of them.

Yup, should be there next Friday night, providing everything goes OK with picking up the newest addition to our family... :D (no, it's not a 13mm socket)... :-laf
It is named "TURBO"...

The left (Drivers side) is up and the pass side is down.

You pull the piston's close to half way out. put the bleeder in and cover the line hole. Hook up the line hole and with the uppermost hole (bleeder or line hole) upright push in the piston's with th eline or bleeder cracked. Install pads bolt up caliper, and bleed.

Man my back is killin me from shovelin all the snow this big nor-easter is dumpin on us  DPG hope you make a Killin off this one. :{ Dam its a slow night at work. :-laf
