Moose, it was nice... ..... but (LOUD!!)- I may end up sticking the muffler in. The box made it a bit more enjoyable also!!!

DPG the noise is only temporary. After a week your hearing falls off enough so it sounds like a stock system again :-laf At least leave it straight til friday so I can hear it. Sounds like you got 'er done? And a box? Man your done for... .

signal, Yup Moose and I installed the 4" exhuast on saturday and he also let me borrow his VA smartbox for the week to try it out. . I will defintly leave it the way it is for friday, but i will also bring the muffler in the back seat incase i want to put it in down there. .

mummn is your truck a excab? dodge plowguy?. . i jsut removed my muffler from my 4" banks exhaust. . i made it so i can put it back in etc... used 4" band clamps and its about the same sound from in the cab, outside is louder. . inside you get that big truck sound when shifting(5spd) etc sounds nice not loud or nasty. . what system do you have?. . maybe its a12v vs 24v thing. .

yea deo my truck is a 98. 5 24v ext. cab dually . I love the sound of the truck on the outside it sounds like a big rig also. , but when i think its alittle to loud is when i'm 60+mph or 2000+rpm. I'm going to be using this truck to tow my camper around this summer so Im not really crazy about getting it to loud in the cab. I also had 2 neighbors come over and ask me "what the hell did you do to that thing? " :-laf

dodge plowguy. . my truck isn't loud on the inside of the cab. . infact its amost the same noise level as with the muffler from in the cab..... I'm not sure why yours is louder in the cab. . what gears do you have?. . i have 410. . mummn strange... . you'll see it in person soon i hope. . then you can go for a ride in it. . see what i mean. . its pretty docile in the cab.
