CTD fire

I saw a CTD on Baker Grade Calif. towing heavy North bound with what looked like a battery fire on Friday morning (6 June). I wonder if he was a TDR member? I couldn't stop because of an important realty deal in Vegas. The engine compartment on the driver side was on fire. Any body out there in TDR land know about this.

... my neighbour's '07 5. 9L had a battery melt down on him a few weeks back, and took some wiring etc. with it. My other neighbour, a diesel performance guy, said there was a TSB/DTC or something out for it - I looked into it being concerned about my truck, but the only thing I saw was for 06-07 (I think) trucks having some battery connection that had to be checked..... don't know if that was what he was referring to or not, or if it might be related to the burning truck you saw...
