we just put my wife's gauges in with your cubby plate and it worked great no trimming just a perfect fit like everything else i got from you.

Cubby Plates

I assume these are blanks to start with, an you cut your own size hole for what ever. I wonder if someone has done a CB radio that is small enough to fit the 03/04 cubby holes using one of Eric's plates.

Eric makes them up to fit the cubby and then you tell him how many holes you want , alls you do the is put it in place and put your gauges in. im sure he would sell you a blank.

tazzen thanks for the info. I may consider doing that if I can find a radio small enough. I don't know why I need another one, I'm about radio poor as it is. :-laf

I am looking to do the same thing. I was looking at the dash today, trying to figure out what's behind it, since the cubbys are both depth limited. I am finding that the depth is going to be the biggest obstacle to overcome with this idea. Width and length wise, a lot of radios fit, but not on the depth. I am limited to how far it sticks out the dash, since I have the six-shooter. Keep us advised on what you find that might fit, or any dash removal secrets you uncover. I would cut the back out of the cubby to mount the CB, if I can get it out. So far the only models I can find that might fit now, are the Cobra 19 DX III and maybe the 18 WX ST II. What others have you found to fit? Oh yeah, there is a similar model to the cobra made by Midland, but I can't find a current model number. The two radios look identical.
