71 Cuda. Original Black on Black Big Block car!
Gilled fenders, dual cut out rear valance, power bulge hood, complete and original 383 / 727 drive trane, 8 3/4 sure grip (3. 91), bucket seats, slapstick console, rallye dash, original AM/FM thumbwheel radio, 15" D slots, etc. I dont know how to read all that fender tag jive, so I am not sure about anything else.
This car has been sitting in a garage getting piddled with since 1980. The original owner would drive it, go to jail for a while, drive it, go back to jail, parking it for good in 85. Needless to say, it has not seen much road use in the past 22 years. The car runs, but naturally smokes. The transmission has enough left in it to move it around. The grille is 100% complete with about 4 hair line cracks, nothing that would keep it from fetching $1000 on ebay from what I have witnessed.
About the only thing changed on this car since 71 is a set of headers, chrome 70 style valve covers and aircleaner. I took the 15" wheels off because the tires were dry rotted. Now it has a newer set of 14" D slots, but I have the 15" D's here in the garage. The engine/transmission has never been apart. Have some new items I got at the mopar nats like rocker panel mouldings, glove box insert, new dome light cover... just some small stuff I was stocking up on for a "restoration". Too many irons in the fire. $8000 obo.
