Hope this helps someone: About 10K miles ago my truck developed at vibration at 41-44 mph. It was definately not in front end;no steering wheel shake. I rotated & balanced the tires, no change-took truck to tire dealer for balancing-no change- Talked to servicing dealer--"sounds like tires". Discussion not helpful!! When servicing trans we found one broken bolt at rear u-joint. Thought this was vibe. replaced broken bolt. Nope. About 2 weeks ago I stopped for fuel. When shifted into reverse It sheared the other three bolts at this u-joint! You can imagine my chagrin at seeing my Ram being toewd in by a Pford! After reminding service manager that Chrysler would have to prove that mods caused problem, the MoPar extended warranty replaced the joint, & the driveshaft. End of vibration! It is my understanding that "driveshafts get replaced" with some regularity. (no proof)
