I need to remove a tree to make a parking pad for my TT (seen in background) and didn't want the stump to sit under the pad. I said to mysefl,

"self, do you think the BRT can pull that tree down?"

Why of course it can!javascript:smilie(':D')

I kept the truck on the paved driveway in 4 low. I used the multiple tug method rather than brut force.

Boy that was fun

I did the same damn thing a couple of years ago to an old apple tree. I was helping my father cut the tree down and decided to put "a little" tension on the pull rope with the truck. With a tap of the go pedal, the truck connected and the tree was down before the chain saw was running.

My truck has seen some 'yard work' as well over the past couple of years. One day last fall I was helping a woman out on her ranch, whos husband had just died, and my last task was to remove about 18 9"-diameter posts from the ground. Well, about half of them pulled straight up by hand, but I was forced to use other means of removal for the others. I decided that my rear B&H bumper had lived too easy a life, and it was time to put it to work:D

So I put the truck in reverse and backed over the remaining posts... Some of them snapped off at the ground, while others pulled up a good chunk of earth, but none inflicted even the slightest damage to the bumper:D
