Yeah i agree with you on there lack of producing and getting these trucks out, unfortunately my business does rely on my undelivered truck, and I if I order a dodge in the future I'll plan on a 6 month waite not 6 weeks as I was told

Just hope that it doesn't go for you like it did for me... I waited for 3 months and they sent me the wrong color truck!! My order sheet said silver and they sent me Almond w/silver bottom! I had to reorder and was told on 2-23 that my truck is at the factory waiting for a railroad car to be loaded onto. Pro'ly another 2 to 3 more weeks IF everything goes RIGHT!

I'm in Honeoye, NY. Ordered my "600" 1/8/04, picked it up 2/23/04. I think there was one other on the lot, but can't be sure.

GCrowell, that will teach me to read the SIG before posting, DUH. Should have known better. As for those waiting on their truck, is it safe to assume the following. Train waits till it is full how ever long that takes, then boat does the same. So "on the water" could mean, at the dock waiting for more vehicles to fill the ship. I ordered on 2/18, figure on getting truck close to June, guess that is a fair guess based on this thread.

Thanks for all the input. I haven't had much luck with my '99 Ram 1500 4X4 mechanically (to be traded in), but I bought it because I liked the way it looked. Ditto for the new RAM 2500 Cummins. IMHO, the Ram is the looker of the bunch, plus the Cummins puts it over the top. I just hope my traditional bad luck with new vehicles doesn't continue with this truck. I chased my buddy with the dealer license for 8mos. before he finally hooked me up with the dealer I've ordered from (If I was on the TDR< I could have saved myself alot of time and aggravation. . oh, well, hindsight is 20/20). Now add almost three months to get it and still waiting. I have it in the back of my head that the color will be wrong, or it'll be a short box instead of the LWB, etc. My luck, it'll be damaged in shipping or I'll get creamed pulling out of the lot with it, LOL!
