Everyone one on TDR knows that Ford does not own Cummins. Maybe 10 percent 10-15 years ago. Anyway I need something I can print out to take to work to make some fellow workers understand. What you got? thanks

The Cummins website use to have a disclaimer stating the fact that Ford does not own any part of Cummins. IIRC it was about a paragraph long. Not sure if it is still there or not but it's not hard to check.

Good luck.

I tried the same thing with a guy I know that works at the local Ford dealer, and he still didn't believe me. I guess they do a thorough job brainwashing the guys that actually work at the dealerships.

They just wish they could own a part of Cummins. Maybe it'd make the Powersmoke run better if it has some Cummins blood in it:-laf

One of my coworkers came back from the Auto Show in Minneapolis with the same line of meadow muffins, got it from a sales droid in the Ford booth. He now stands corrected.

Well the 2 mechs at work stand corrected. Would not Ford put Cummins engines in their trucks if they owned it. Duh lets see . Oh good idea. Idiots

Thats just like asking a Bowtie buy why he drives or would even buy a crappy duracrap same answer they look cool :(
