Wanting to do a filter change (asap of course), I called the local Cummins shop- $12+ for the Stratapore.
Not wanting to wait for mail order at this time I went on down. Told the nice counter person what I wanted, mentioned the prices available elsewhere. Told her I would prefer doing business locally.
Results- LF3894 $8. 86, Premium Blue 6. 86.
I don't want to discourage anyone else from buying mail order, but I want to be on good terms at the local Cummins shop, and these prices are pretty close.
