Anyone seen the new Cummins/Dodge Mud Flaps at the Cummins Powerstore? www.powerstore. cummins.com They look great and are a front/rear set. Price is pretty good, too. I just had to order them.

I agree 100%. However,I ordered a pair for a 3500 and got two rear mudflaps. The picture is misleading, it's showing one for the 3500's and one for the 2500's. It looks like the ones for the 2500's would work on the front but I'm not too sure.
Here's a couple of pictures of them on the truck

I ordered the same ones, it is rears only, I have the 3500 also. Only one of the pre-drilled holes was in the right place to get the flaps positioned where I wanted them, had to drill new holes in the flaps for the remaining bolts. Used existing holes in truck and got 5 bolts on each side. Used the automotive clips from ACE. They look great.

I need some for the front of my truck. It sounds like these won't work. Is that right?

I already have a set on the back of the new 2500 and guess what?... the holes that are pre drilled in the mud flaps actually line up with the existing holes in the fender!
These holes contain a plastic "bolt" that attatches the inner lip of the fender to the inner plastic fender liner.
All I did was drill out the existing plastic fastener and mount the mud flaps with 1/4" stainless bolts through the existing holes. Could not have been any easier! #ad
And they look Good. #ad

Samscov, Can you give us a picture?

Now you did it. After looking at the pictures I order a set for my truck. It is about time anyway. After only a couple of months, the rear fenders have lots of paint chips.

Do mud flaps count for bombing?

Mubflaps = modifying
BOMB = Better Off Modified Baby

According to me and my legal staff, the addition of said mudflaps would be considered BOMBing.
If anyone disagrees, please forward your complaints to my legal department at:
Dewey, Cheatum, Scruem, and Howe.

BTW, The first BOMB I did on my truck is that bumper modification.

Take a scotchbrite pad and cleanser and polish the tailpipe. It`ll clean right up.

It really makes a big difference. The large tailpipe is really noticeable.

You guys have got to stop posting all these gotta have items. My list is getting too long even though I buy stuff almost everyday for my truck.

Ok, when the Cummins site says $31 something a "pair," is a pair one front and one rear mudflap?

Thanks.

Hal

To throw away my 0. 015$; a pair to me (for our trucks) means a Right and a Left. A front and a Rear (depends upon where they go). So for "flaps" that would mean R & L. For hitches, it would mean F & R.
On another point, a 2x4 doesnt have the inner fender liners on the rear, how do the flaps mount (someone check the instructions and post the answer), but they can be added (the inner panels - at least another post said so waaay back when). Does a 2x4 owner need to get the inner panels or do the flaps come with mounting hardware for this "lack of" problem?

HGH, a pair is left and right rear. That's what I got.
As far as mounting goes, my truck had regular mudflaps on it that the previous owner installed. He had a custom bracket so the mudflaps would hang just like a big trucks would. I didn't use any of the pre-drilled holes. When I get time I'll take some pictures of it.

Sorry, Scott, I'm a computer dummy, I don't know how to post pictures here. They look just like the 3500 flaps only narrower.
If anyone would like to email me with step by step directions on how to get photos from a digital camera onto this page, I sure will give it a try. #ad

I just got the rear ones for my 2500 and I'm using the 3500 rears (they look way good on a 2500... I had full size truck rear flaps on before these and they do fit especially with bigger tires). I had to go ahead and order the 2500 ones for the front wheels It just didn't look right without them.

Yeah, I don't know about them. They don't pull the "buy me" triggers like the Cummins/Dodge ones do. Only my opinion, though... ... not everyone will agree with me.

the 2500's sets fit the front. you gotta drill your own holes. I attached mine with selftapping (stainless!) hexheads and 1"diameter (stainless again!) flat washers. had to remove the tires to have room for the drill while driving the screws. They don't match the Tazmanian Devil "BACK OFF!" pair in the back, but the truck's so big, who sees both ends at the same time, anyway #ad

They look kinda HD that way. #ad

Hello to all
I ordered a set of these flaps for a 2500 and recieved a pair that I think is to small. I may put them on the front.

To those of you that have the 3500 flaps, Please measure them and post me on there size. I have 285 BFGs on my truck and need something a little wider. I love the look of the bigger flap.
Has anyone mounted the 3500 flaps on the rear of a 2500?? Any trouble??
See Ya
Chris
