Competition Muncie Drag racing results?

Off Roading heat straightening axle tube

Went to shake the new tune up in the car out, and with diesel and very little NOS, ran super strong. 1. 26 60', 144 mph, and 9. 11 at 5800 ft altitude.

We have installed a Snow boostcooler system (great stuff) but had it off for this pass, to make sure that the other mods were ok.

We installed a whole new fuel system from the tank to the p pump.

We are running at the Mopar event Sunday here in Denver. Will test the water / meth in the Snow system.

Hopefully, 8's on the score board.

9.11 run was on 50% BioDiesel

StakeMan: Was that with diesel or bio?

We were low on the Bio, and mixed 50/50... .

Going to pick up more 100% BlueSun biodiesel this AM. If you look close on the car at the website, there is a decal of theirs between the front wheels.

I am sold on the stuff.

Regarding Muncie, what do you guys think? Should we do the 24 hour drive? Sounds like it would be fun to go...

The drive would be a long one for you but it sure would be fun for everyone to see that thing there...

My vote (from the one that only has an 11 hour drive) Bring it. :D

Just remember one thing. Bill Fletcher is the one who was trying to hunt down The Outlaw Josie Wales. Now Josie was a good guy. He was one of us. Fletcher was a ruthless killer. A turncoat no less. I just hope William Fletcher ain't of the same blood. This could get nasty. Tire irons ARE NOT allowed in the pit area. Are they? Awh heck, never mind. I forgot. That's Southern , saturday night racing. And round track to boot. This is different. A lot more gentlemanly. Isn't it.

Anyway, come on to Muncie. Really gonna be a blast. Gunslingers and all. It'll be good to meet all y'all.

Serious? I loved that movie, but of course didn't remember the name... Hmmm... Maybe Fletcher renamed himself for that effect; maybe his real name is Pee Diddy Chrome Teeth... ;) LOL!

OK, if all goes well Sunday in Denver testing, Muncie is next....

We are running at the Mopar race in Denver in the morning, and if we clip off a better pass, we will plan on going to Muncie.

We have a goal of an 8 at altitude before taking it on the road.

If we run a 8. 9 at 5800 ft. , what do you bet it runs at 900 ft at Muncie?

Talk to Clint and some of the other ATS guys. They all came down here to Atlanta back in 2002 for our DPM race. I don't remember any of them saying they ran "way fast" at 1100 feet compared to home. I do think they ran better though.

Something I wonder about. The thin air makes less hp and the thick air is harder to push through as you make speed. With these trucks, and the aerodynamic qualities of them, how much do the two balance themselves out?

Ronda:

You're is a better location to check out the identity. Let me know , for real. I gotta watch my step. Me and Josie are two of a kind. "You never met a white boy quite like me". That's Kid Rock. I didn't know that till this year. Kind of a neat song.

. . Preston... Chrome teeth, huh. I bet that's something to see.
