liebherr cast and branded valve cover inline 6 gonna say it a MANN diesel thats what factory filter boxes said ,could be wrong ran strong tier4 gen 2 i think? we had a gen 1 1300 didnt have issues was a demo that ab bought fully dressed out with options but def nozzle would still crystilyze up too ever so often.

i ended up being the mechanic talking to factory guys on a brand new 1300 had 90 hrs on it bigge crane # 321 the other is 161 it had a aux diesel apu with a second heater and ac compressor so u could run AC or heat without main motor idling and cold weather kit too decked out

i believe #321 had scr issues from 100 hrs out said there were seven of them in the country i was the second crane to get factory update under warranty , 213 main and 66 to 125 foot luffer for AB in Dallas

3 scr pumps and many patches to get out of limp mode and hoisting again big iron i 30 arch bridge

christian was our austrian Liebherr mechanic from houston knows his stuff from liebherr germany, fixed it at the end of job before it shipped out factory update came on a pallet from germany $$$$$

def tank has a heated loop in def tank to prevent freezing but heat degrades def fluid too dumped that many times as weak fluid throws a yellow light code also learned that these systems r problematic without regular maintainace

engine mounted compressor air tank def pumps new injector plumbing etc

yellow warning saying scr pump warning issue then red warning of pump failure and codes it would hardly crawl lack of power only 1 function at a time multi pump functions and it would stall engine due to limp mode,
after new compressor and big expensive factory fix it ran well till end of job
