Cummins Engine Manual

I saw a couple of references to the Cummins Engine manual. I looked on Cummins' website, but could not locate this book, which I have heard contains some yoda-wisdom, Cummins Turbo Diesel gospel, and , most importantly, something witty and/or profound I could add to my profile here on TDR.



I have a 1993 W250. Anybody know where to find the Cummins engine manual. I already have the Dodge factory manual. It is a hoot.

I had a '89, and the service manual was in two books. one was the basic Dodge gas engine truck manual, and the 2nd was a diesel supplement. It had all the Cummins stuff in it. Regards, Moose00

ABGordon, where did you get the dodge manual? Does it have good info on bearing replacement for the ring and pinion. Alan do you know where to get a fsm manual?

Did you look at the links Paychk listed?



Got mine at www.techauthority.com It is the Ram FSM.



I don't think it is on their site list anymore, but call them up. Might be able to still get it.

Yes call Techauthority, I was able to get the manual for the 89 pickups, complete with the diesel supplement. Also there is a "powertrain diagnostics procedures" manual it goes into the computer stuff for the 91. 5 - 93 Cummins.

1stgen4evr to obtain the FSM I called the Dodge dealer and they gave me a tollfree number that is used to order all their technical manuals. I didn't keep the number, but if you can't get it from the dealer let me know and I will try to get it for you. I will check on ring and pinion gear coverage in the FSM tonite and get back to you.

1stgen4evr the 1993 FSM has about 15 pages on differential disassembly of the model 60 and 70 axles. It looks pretty complete to me. I have recently used this manual for front caliper/rotor/pad replacement and turbocharger replacement, and it was very good except they forgot about the part where you have to beat out the old wheel studs and install them in the new rotor assembly. Guess that was just an oversight. If you want these pages send me your mailing address and I will mail you a copy.
