Good friend of mine is in Tampa for military service, I'll try to get him to come out for the event.



I drove his butt to TX to get his 96 5sp 2WD, but he won't let me under the hood--yet.



He was driving a 6. 9 4WD, so he's still utterly amazed at the 5. 9 power in stock form. :-laf

The first annual FL Dodge diesel truck rally will be held at the above location on June 18th starting at 11AM. Specifics are still in the planning stage. Lunch and beverages will be provided with donations accepted for covering cost. T-Shirts will be available (not yet sure if they are free or not). Anyone with a Dodge diesel truck is invited and bring anyone else who is interested in Dodge diesels. PM if you will be coming and if you will be bringing other truck/people (for head count purposes). The event is free. We are trying to negotiate a discounted rate on dynos. There should be a couple of techs on hand for Q & A.



I will keep everyone posted as the planning progresses.





Directions: To Ocala, Florida



I-75 from (North or South), take SR 40 (exit 352) West approx 1. 2 miles to SW 52nd Ave. (traffic light). There is no street sign from this direction but I will put a plywood sign on the side of the road. Turn Left into industrial park. Cummins down on Left, look for big blue C sign.



441 from (North or South), take SR 40 (silver springs blvd) West several miles until you drive under I-75 then follow above directions.



SR 40 from the East side of state. Stay on SR 40 (silver springs blvd) all the way through Ocala until you reach/drive under I-75, follow above directions.



SR 40 from the West side of state. Stay on SR 40 toward Ocala until you reach SW 52nd Street, make a Right into inustrial park, SE Cummins will be down on the Left, look for big blue C sign. DO NOT TURN LEFT OFF OF SR 40 INTO A DIFFERENT SEMI GARAGE THAT HAS THE BIG BLUE CUMMINS SIGN. THIS WILL BE BEFORE SW 52 STREET. THEY JUST SERVICE CUMMINS ENGINES. AGAIN LOOK FOR SW 52ND STEET AND MAKE A RIGHT.

Bi-Annual Florida DTR event

"Saturday March 3rd meet In Ocala. Starts at 9:00AM and end whenever.

Directions: From I-75 take exit 341 (Belleview exit... CR484).

Go West (Pilot station side of I-75) on 484 approx. 1/4 mile

Make a Left on 20th Ave. Rd. You will see a large sign for Summerglenn retirement community. Drive approx 1/4 mile to stop sign.

Make a Right at the stop sign, should still be 20th Ave. Rd.

Follow this road South. You should be parrallel with I-75 Follow this down approx 1-2 miles.

You will come to the entrance to Summerglenn community on right, pass it.

You will see the Belleview weigh-station on I-75 to your left.

Immediately after the retirement cummunity you will come to a small S curve in the road.

After S curve take your first Right on a dirt road, make an immediate Left through a gait into a grassy field and your there.

The biggest landmark from the Interstate is Mr. Osborne's paintball fields. I will have signs up and maybe my truck parked out by the road. "

Smoke from the Smoke house- March 22 2008

Hey guys, We're scheduling another meet on March 22 at Ozzie's Paintball field again. Mr Osborne's smoke house burned down but we're helping him build a new one and it's almost finished. Those of you that have been to the previous meets know about the excellent food that he smokes. I will repost directions soon. Basically it's off the Belleview exit in just south of Ocala straight accross from the weigh station on the west side of I 75. Usually starts around 9 AM and people roll in all morning. I'll be getting in touch with the previous guys that came from my contact list. I'll also have our four wheelers out too. There happens to be some places to ride in the area.
