Does anyone recommend the cummins fuel injector cleaner??? Got 100K and have done NOTHING to my truck. OEM EVERYTHING, God where is the wood. . ( Knock Knock)... ... ... . I dont count belts and hoses of course, well steering getting loose, oh and cd player is intermittant, adjusted valves... front rotors are warped... . well i think you get my meaning..... RRR

I have used the Cummins lubricity and injector cleaner additive (red label), it is a good product, and it is over-priced. I now use Stanadyne performance formula, it does everything the Cummins product does and a lot more and it is cheaper in price.

I hae also used the Stanadyne performance formula I feel it's worth the price. If yuo go to www.dieselpage.com you can pick up a case of pints for $54. 59 per case including ship and handl, thats $4. 55 ea. Not to bad of price.

I have been having a problem with my 94' truck blowing lots of white/blue smoke in the morning when I start it and was just about to call and buy a new set of injectors when I decided to try adding some of the Cummins diesel additive. Two days later and the smoke is gone. I am assumming that I had a dirty injector that was causing it to leak overnight and would smoke when I started it. I have to admit that I am planning on putting it in every couple of tanks from now on. But, I am also planning on trying the Stanadyne that is a lot cheaper.

Later,
Tim

IMO the Cummins is OK.

There are other additives that do the same as the Cummins additive plus a little more, and they are cheaper.

I use the LE DCI+. Stanadyne is good too.
