cummins to 88 chevy

Part Number for Valve cover

Hello all I have a 90 burban I'm going to set a 6b cummins :-laf into and would like to know if the stock chevy mount give a lot of vibration when used in a swap. I have the adapters to go from the cummin to chevy mounts just dont want a lot of vibration. On my last swap I made plates to use the cummins mounts but it was 2x4 and now this one is a 4x4 and dont have as much room for making adapters on the frame. Anyone with experience on this please let me know what you think would work the best.

Thanks Nathan

cummins in chevy mounts questions

On my 83 cummins conversion with 1 ton running gear .

With the ounts i have i dont exsperience any vibrations in my truck

I how ever did not use any rubber bushings or insulators on the truck

every thing is Poly urthane except the frame to body mounts unless they go badthen they will be polyurthane as well .

I used the poly urthane clam shell set up that energy suspention has , used a small carrage bolts to clamp it to gether rather than the tie strap they give you , anouher option is the mounts that www.jack-it.com has for GM to replace the clam shells

Dvolk, I probably already asked you this but didnt you just use the factory chevy mounts and just slotted the holes on the plates? I looked at the jack-it poly mounts for a chevy. something like $120 or so. is that what you used?
