Funny that they waited 10y to claim the trucks are out of compliance on "some" drive modes... Must've took them that long to find a drive scenario that produced the alleged NOx levels... Makes it almost impossible for engineers to test and validate EVERY possible combination of throttle inputs and emission's outputs that may someday be deemed as "reasonable"... I hope they do the same for powerplants that provide juice for the coal powered cars so that the they have to deal with the startup emission's that contribute to pollution when they plug their cars in.

The question that I would like them to answer is:

Are the alleged violations of the Clean Air Act actual violations of statute or merely violations of agency rulemaking and interpretation under the Chevron Doctrine and agency whim (i.e., agency overreach like the ATF clanging its interpretation of bump stocks and pistol braces stating they were completely legal one day and then would put a user in jail for owning the same one day after the ATF changed their mind)?

Maybe I should register for an anonymous account before thinking out loud!

By golly I think your catching on, but be careful free thinking is said to be dangerous

I agree, same logic.

Yep, it seems like the free thinking is being more and more under fire.

In any event, I'm still waiting see if anyone has dissected anything with this whole thing. All I keep seeing on the Internet is speculation and butt in the seat dynos.
