does anybody know if someone makes a kit to put a 5. 9 in to a 94 F250? i have a good truck and a 99 24V with only 1300 miles on it. Thanks for any help you can give

I don't know if anyone makes a kit for that, but Chevy V-8s have been put in VW bug convertibles. Paul Newman (the actor) had one. It was installed in the back seat and I heard was unbearable to drive with the noise and heat. (Even with the custom firewall and housing around the engine) Company that did the install said they can put almost anything into anything, question is, how much money do you want to spend. I am sure putting a Cummins in the F250 would not be a very difficult install for a capable shop. You would have a helluva and one of a kind truck that would be a lot cheaper than buying a new Ram. I would do it if I had both items like you did even if the install costed $4000. Do you have the trans also?? You will need the trans to make it run right, otherwise the gearing will be off.

i have everthing as i have the complete truck it was hit very hard in the side behind the cab(nearly bent in half). I have a customer who has a cummins in his ford he bought the mounts but can't remember from where except it was a business in texas. Lucky for me we have a complete machine shop so i can make them if i have to but thought it might be easier if i could buy them.

That is a easy swap, esp. if the Ford is a diesel,(not like hiding a RX-7 in a VW Bug).

The motor mount brackets are simple to make, the mounts I used were from "88" Ford 460 gas.
If you would like more imfo. ,you could call me some night. I airport type,(circle-find the letter-land),It would take forever this way!!

I swear I saw a new F150 in Vancouver Wa. a few weeks back that had a diesel in it. I think it was a dark cranberry color. I heard/saw it a few times that weekend, so I know I am not loosing my marbles (yet).

I have a freind that is working on putting a C-series in a Ford F-250. He is about half way done with it and is hoping to finish it by the end of this year..... should be a real work horse!!!!
